I recently visited this café restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The service was subpar at best, with the staff appearing disinterested and inattentive throughout our visit.
To make matters worse, when we asked for fresh flowers on our table, they neglected our request. The dead flowers remained, adding to the overall disappointment of the atmosphere.
What truly astonished us was their refusal to allow us to enjoy a birthday cake we had brought with us. They not only declined our request to blow out the candles but also forbade us from taking pictures to commemorate the occasion. Also when we tried to order, we thought maybe by ordering the cafe's sweets which other reviewers are mentioning are from "Éclair Patisserie'' they didn't even have the items on the menu available so we would order them instead of having our own cake.
This level of inflexibility and lack of customer consideration was truly disheartening.
While I understand that the café may have concerns about its location (located in a private residential complex), so that they don't want the place to be overpopulated and customer capacity, it's important to note that such factors should not excuse the level of poor service and inflexibility we experienced.
Regardless of their reasons, the behavior we encountered was simply not acceptable and tarnished what could have been a pleasant dining experience considering it was our friend's birthday.
Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of a restaurant's constraints. We chose not to order anything and left the place, disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience. It's a shame that a café with such potential in terms of ambiance failed to deliver on the basic expectations of customer service.
